Intensive In-Home Counseling, Therapeutic Day Treatment, and Mentoring Services
Intensive In-Home works to help our clients achieve permanency and success in the home, by supporting and strengthening the family system, while addressing the client’s behaviors and mental health needs that threaten permanency. Intensive In-Home Counseling occurs within the client’s home and their communities allowing for maximum flexibility and real life applications.
Intensive In-Home is designed to be a short-term medically necessary mental health service that provides therapeutic interventions for client and their family. The service provides life skills activities, behavior management, parent education, crisis intervention and case management that supports permanency goals. Our clients often have mental disorders such as Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Other Specified Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorder , Anxiety Disorders and Specific Learning Disorder. Our counselors are Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP/QMHP-E) who work with the clients and family up to 10 hours per week. Our counselors collaborate with other involved agencies, school and mental health providers to form a treatment team to support our client’s recovery. Intensive In-Home promotes the successful reunification of children with their biological or foster / adoptive families. Services are person centered, family focused and foster safe connections in their community.
